Cotton Sleeves are normally required when using metal handholds for zapping. The sleeves are used to prevent direct contact between the metal pipes and your skin. The sleeves MUST be kept moist during the entire zapping session. If they dry out they will act as an insulator and prevent any actual zapping from taking place.
The RSG-4 Sweep Zapper uses a large diameter stainless steel handhold that is much more comfortable for most people to hold onto when zapping. Our cotton sleeves are made specifically for the RSG-4 Zapper so they will fit perfectly.
